Food and wine buffs will be in for a treat in Florida, US, on October 8 and 9.
The annual Food and Wine Classic will be held at the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Lake Buena in Florida, featuring top brands for the connoisseurs of fine food and wine.
The event features a seminar of beverages and a festival with live tastings and music from the hotelâ€™s lounges and restaurants.
Guests will be able to choose from six classes on beverages. Certified beer and cocktail specialists and wine sommeliers will be teaching the classes.
The guests can choose from a sake hour to a wine blending seminar to cocktails and beer using liquid nitrogen. They will listen, watch, touch, and taste.
After the classes, the guests can walk the causeway while hearing live musicians and taste numerous offerings of food.
Food samples will include: Pick Your Own Filet from Shulaâ€™s Steak House; Steamrollers from celebrity chef Todd Englishâ€™s Bluezoo, which is a take on molecular cuisine; and from Il Mulino New York Trattoria, hand crafted pasta that is full of flavor but simple. Each day will have different food selections.
There will also be a beautiful selection of desserts from world pastry champion Laurent Branlard, the only two time champ and the hotelâ€™s executive pastry chef.
