A new survey released by Hologic, Inc. shows that 60 percent of women surveyed think that fall and winter are the best times to conceive a baby. So to help these new moms chronicle this journey, Hologic is launching MamaMemoirs: The Journey From Due Date To Play Date.

It will be a rich multimedia pregnancy journal that can be shared with family and friends. It is fresh, lighthearted and fun, but with a serious goal in mind: to keep mom healthy and delivering as close as she can to her due date.

Moms can announce to the world they are having a baby, can report on the doctor’s visit, post sonogram pictures and document her good and her bad days. When the baby arrives, mom can share her first pictures to the world, along with converting the online baby journal over to a printed keepsake.

Three-quarters of the moms who were surveyed said they did not keep a baby journal… 40 percent said they did not have time, while 35 percent said they wish now that they had done a pregnancy journal.

Hologic is a leading manufacturer, developer, and supplier of premium medical imaging systems, surgical products, and diagnostics that is dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of women. They have partnered with the makers of Lil Grams online baby books to make this journal web site, Mamamemoirs, which will also have a Facebook page.
