PRESS RELEASE from Nealy Tynes, President, International OPERATION PAIN RELIEF

PRESS RELEASE
4-28-19

In 2010 the Department of Defense told us there were 18 vets of foreign wars dying by suicide everyday in Washington state.  That is approximately 6,570 per year.

Now, it’s 2019 and the suicide rate is increasing dramatically in Washington state each day, not only by the vets of foreign wars, but include cancer patients, fibromyalgia patients, RSD/CRPS patients, etc., who are all untreated for their pain.

Washington state was considered the first “Pilot Project” state in America, back in 2010.  Now there are 6 pilot project states in the union.

Whatever passed in Washington state, passed nationwide.  Blame ESHB 2876, sponsored and written by Jim Moeller (House Rep), in 2010.

I read it.  There were no facts, or findings of law in Jim’s Bill.  It was simply hearsay, and a story.  No proof of what he wrote was backed up by any documentation.

ESHB 2876 was about a story of children getting into their parents medicine cabinets, finding pill bottles, overdosing, while their parents were not at home.

And, that my friends, became law.  It was merely a story.

I interviewed each of the House of Representatives in the Washington state, Olympia, legislators’ offices.  Each and everyone of them had a ‘boiler plate’ answer to me.  They said:  “I was told to not read it, and to not research it, but to sign it and send it up the governor’s office.”  Governor Christine Gregoire then passed it into law.

I found out later, during my investigation, that the FDA pressured the legislators into signing ESHB 2876.

I confronted the FDA, and told them they have no jurisdiction over our Washington state legislators, and they need to get the hell out of our state, and don’t ever come back.

In the meantime, the doctors started leaving our state in droves.  There were none to be found who would take chronic pain patients, and the suicide rate climbed even further.

I was sad.  I was angry.  I was in shock.  I felt helpless.

But, God had a plan for me, and I kept advocating anyway, to the best of my ability.

Then I became empowered by FACEBOOK.  A whole new world opened up for me, and now I am on fire, and grateful.

Please share this PRESS RELEASE.

Intractable Chronic Pain Patient’s
ICPP
Where are the studies on compliant patients taking Opoids for greater then one year about:
Do Opoids build up a tolerance?
Can Opoids be taken great than a year and pain be controlled?
Are compliant patients in any group study of there own on withdrawal?
If these studies we’re not done why did the government agencies new guidelines include them?
Do the government agencies consider compliant patients controlling there pain with quality of life considered an addict?
Define addict by the standard of a medication that can control pain and give quality of life of a 💯% compliant patient.
What pain medication is not addictive? Yes narcotics are but this drug has been considered an addiction to the street addicts.
What defines a compliant patient having quality of life on Opoids?
If taken by a compliant patient define addiction of Opoids as a narcotic used appropriately by physician and patient.
Why was a forced stop of Opoids appropriate medicine prescription
With out a study of withdrawl and duediligence to the effects was not done, admitting agencies didn’t consider it of importance, and now patients are suicidal and have suicides how can our government agencies continue with this Travisty of injustice on these patients and know the outcome now that is happening?
How compliant were our government agencies in evaluating the compliant patient’s outcome before the guidelines we’re enforced.

I’m wondering if the organization formed by pain patients + advocates can bring it case against the U.S. government, physicians, + pharmacies at The Hague in The Netherlands for Crimes Against Humanity as a result of knowingly + willfully withholding medically necessary pain treatment and intentionally inflicting excruciating pain, grave bodily harm, extreme physical + emotional distress w/ or w/o the intent to commit Genocide upon the disabled who belong to “a protected group,” at least under the law. There won’t be desperately needed “protection” of disabled ipatients in chronic severe to excruciating + unbearable pain n the U.S. w/o enforcement of the law by an international tribunal.

Vera Krull

People think we are addicted but by far we are not. The medications go to the horrific unrelenting intractable Pain that we are experiencing, Some can’t wrap their heads around we build up a tolerance to them but NO ADDICTIONS, MY GOSH PEOPLE ARE TAKING THEIR LIVES BECAUSE WE CAN’T LIVE LIKE THIS, IT’S SO INHUMANE. MAYBE IN A 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES BUT NOT AMERICA, I WAS RAISED IN.

M Billeaudeaux

Thank you for this article. There is not a drug crisis among chronic pain patients except for not getting their adequate medication prescribed and filled. Stop punishing these patients for another’s choice. Spend your time and money on getting help for addicts. Spend our money on better facilities for these people in trouble. Something is not working at the current rehab facilities, Addicts go right back to their addiction after rehab the majority of the time because they choose to, they are not helped with this. The whole problem needs to be reaccessed. Stop punishing people in pain and spend your time on reinventing these programs.

Gail you are exactly right!!!! You said more of what I meant to say. Cigarettes are legal. And lethal .That’s proven .But they still sell them. The government isn’t making any money on us pain people. It all comes down to money. AS USUAL!!!

I think I can speak for all pain sufferers being one myself for 16 years. Forget the damn crap on the streets. We don’t do it. We didn’t start it. Its been going on since 1971 and Nixon. We don’t care!! We want our opioid to live, not just be alive. I sit here and cry at least once a day cause Im down to my last pill. CDC & DEALstay out of our health situation. That’s not your job. Many times I’ve prayed not to wake up!!! All because ‘some organization says what I shouldn’t do with my body’. But abortion remains legal. Kill a baby, don’t let the living have a quality of life. I thought this was America. I see no Constitutional rights here. Im tired of hurting. Its sad to say, but I honestly know how people in pain kill themselves. They feel helpless. Hopeless. And just can’t take anymore. People worked so hard in the yrs. past to get a safe pain reliever. Opioid are it. Taken as your doctor says you are safe.

Laurie

VOTE!!!.
Too many on both sides of the aisle are in complete acceptance of this new war on drugs, but the republicans seem to LOVE to torture people anyway they can.
If we can get rid of them, we MAY have a chance to begin discussing leaving pain patients out of the bucket they’ve thrown us all into

Deb Wolfe

Just another fake crisis so we the ignorant public can’t see the [edit] Washington is really doing. Same old manufactured wall of [edit]

I was with my pain doctor for 20 years and on the same dosage when on 4-23-17 the medication that controlled my pain were stopped. I arrived for routine follow-up when a new doctor walked in to tell me he is stopping all pain medication within one month by forced taper. It took me six months to find clinic to accept me as a patient and he treated me like a new patient.

My worst pain is 4 different migraines including chronic cluster migraines, several ruptured disks from a back injury and severe disk degeneration. Spinal Bifida, Scoliosis, fibromyalgia, chronic kidney stones and more.

8-23-2018 I had one of the worst cluster migraines on it’s 5th day, disk rupture pain was hurting and my chronic kidney stones started dropping, qthis was my 4th episode this year. I was in horrific pain.

I have a pain contract so my son called them to say he was taking me to the ER. He was told he could take me but under no circumstances could they give me any pain medication. My son called 3 more times; on the 3rd he was told we needed permission from the doctor and no one told him about me and they closed for the night.

No one should suffer horrific pain. Our doctors abandon us and a pharmacist profile us and refuse to fill our prescriptions. A family pet would never be allowed to live in pain. The family would show mercy and let the pet go to sleep.

Before April 2017 I was happy, involved in many craft projects and saw my daughter and grandchildren often. Because of the migraines my husband created a dark room and I spend most of my time in there.

2
This doctor was fired for this and what he did to others. The Doctor Who took over is an anesthesiologist and they are the best doctors to treat pain. He started to give me back my original pain meds. Up to almost 1/2 now. Why did it take 4 years for the CDC to admit they f*up. What now? Will we be told “you’ve been surviving all this time with 90mme why would I raise it?

Hello,
What I get worked about is the doctors who gave scripts to people who walked into they’re office and cried how much pain they were in. Yet they sell their pain meds and to and behold.. They’re skiing, playing basketball, going to clubs, and so on. And not one of them held a job or was in the service.. Nothing, these people are second and third generation government assistance. Every month they sell the medication and will walk across the city to buy street drugs..I have rods in my back and rheumatoid arthritis and due to those doctors giving those people I mentioned above scripts. I suffer. Only “pain med” I recieved was Naproxen. Because these Drs are fearful of over writing prescriptions?! So I suffer all because of greed and scamming the system.
So I feel the doctors patient records should be reviewed. And they should have to prove these people have such a disabling pain.
Honestly it’s those people abusing meds. And we are all out here suffering
And yes, I’ve tried every so called “treatment”.. But go home none the better, can’t tell you the last time I slept for more than 2 hrs.. My body and mind is exhausted

Gail Honadle

Do they take all of us for Idiots? I’ve raised 3 boys. Not once did they get into the medicine chest, not once a OD on baby Aspirin, or a Vitamin which taste great to them. Any serious meds went into one of those Fireproof LOCKED box with a serious padlock that I had the key for. I don’t care if it was just an Antibiotic, it went into a Fireproof LOCKED BOX with a serious padlock, no one was getting into them even with a hammer or pry bar. Now we have Kids eating Tide Pods or Dishwasher Pods because they look like Candy, with parents to lazy to measure out liquid Laundry soap from a bottle. How about we stop making dangerous products that look like Candy too. USE YOUR BRAINS for more than playing with your X-Box.

Louis Ogden

@Stephen Lowe, I understand your feelings and I walk around (when I can walk) so full of anger and rage but violence is not the answer. Do you want to be physically incarcerated? Please, don’t advocate violence. It will hurt you and our cause. PEACE!!!

ROCHELLE

The FDA needs to add in the black box that who owns the prescribed medication is responsible for its safety. A lock box or safe should be used. If this is cost prohibited contact the pharmaceutical company company. Note the weapon manufacturers or the retail companies have provided locks for many weapons the same should be done for the prescription drug class threes.

Mary

For those who are considering suicide,I’M PRAYING FOR US ALL TO FIGHT! FIGHT FOR OUR GOD GIVEN LIVES! THIS VICTORY STARTS WITH PRAYER. GOD GAVE US THIS LIFE,AND WE ALL HAVE A PURPOSE. I SEE THROUGH “THEIR” EVIL AGENDA .THEIR HEY WANT US TO DO AWAY WITH OURSELVES . THEY EVEN PRESCRIBE MEDICINES THEY BELIEVE WILL AID IN OUR SUICIDES. I BELIEVE THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF POPULATION CONTROL. AND THEY COULD CARE LESS FOR THOSE OF US THEY CONSIDER WEAK. TO ALL THIS I SAY “MY GOD IS MY STRENGTH “! TAKE EVERYTHING TO THE LORD IN PRAYER. FIGHT! LET’S ALL STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT,AND DON’T STOP PRAYING ! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR GOD! TAKE A STEP OF FAITH AND WATCH HIM MOVE.

Now we can contact the FDA for some answers. This is beginning to take shape, form and fashion. The question though is why? Why would they do this and how do they have the power to make our government officials look the other way? I am contacting them today for like the rest of you, I would like to have some truthful answers for a change. If I have to call, email or what have you every day I will. Enough is enough. An administration that is supposed to help people and it pulls a stunt such as this? I’m going to reach out to Richard Lawhern and ask if he will please give his opinion on this story. For that fact if any of you have an opinion I would dearly love to hear it. This will help guide me in my quest for the appropriate answers to my questions. May God help us all.

John Patterson

The AMA had to invent a new “disease” Failed Back Operation because so many disk operations left patients in agony. Enter Fentanyl if used as directed by a decent pain specialist it’s fine if abused its death. Talk to your Dr.

Pauline C Jackson

Stephen REALLY?? Bleh March to the State Representative what a flippen joke! Rise up rise up! I can’t even get out of bed 😫
I and many other people who ask their doctor for pain medicine are sent to pain management. My doctor said that they will not give you any drugs! So why would I want to go there? I won’t go! I said I want another opinion! He says go to mental health! I said, there’s nothing wrong with my head. (Except for keeping you as my doctor for 7 years) I won’t go! So after referring myself to specialists and telling them about my various chronic pain which travels around more than I do. I’ll cut to the chase. It’s painful how people who are supposed to care about you DON’T! I made a formal complaint. Then I received a call from the office manager at my doctor’s office. She wanted me to see a physchologist. I went and after talking to him for 20 mins. He diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia Osteoarthritis Agoraphobia PTSD and some anxiety panic issues. They don’t know what to do with me! LMFAO I’m determined to have control over my life. I’m not as depressed as I was. When I decided to takeover it changed everything! I got my power back! I see my rheumatologist he’s not “in the click” I changed my doctor to a woman. And lastly I told my old PCP to give me 5 refills on my meds so that it will give everyone time to catch up. I forced him to see that I’m not the only one in this boat. He has a fat head. That was a serious stressor for me, having to get all of my pain meds at the same time each month! Whew! I don’t have to see a physchologist now either. I started this endeavor 2 years ago. I had to take breaks which meant I had to cancel a lot. But I figured out a plan for that. I’d make my appointment on a Friday @4pm. That helps everyone.its being considerate of their time. And if there were cancellations call me and I’ll be there in 15min. I have to get shots in my hips or I can’t walk. You have to break through the ice before you can find a kind soul.

Gail

PLEASE tell me why the CDC and alphabet soup of government agencies are going at this 21 century PROHIBITION in such a backward manner!!! They are preying on patients, doctors and pharmacists when the actual criminals are given a pass!!! Pushers and Cartels must be stopped and when there’s no place to get these drugs the addicts will have to get help!!! All that’s been done so far is to torture and kill innocent patients while turning on them and making them out to be criminals! You have destroyed Doctors and patients and made life a living hell!!! The ultimate stupidity is now you will sue the makers of opioids!!! They are legal drugs and used properly they are very helpful!!!
And for God’s sake stop handing out NARCANS as it just gives addicts the feeling no matter what stupid things they do someone will save them. You are giving prizes for bad behavior!!! This has been a colossal jerk move with no saving graces!!!
1) Narcans is the worst thing you can do for drug addicts.
2) You are punishing the wrong people!!!
3) Opioids are good, safe, legal medicine!!!
4)Punish the criminals and quit making criminals out of patients, doctors and pharmacists!
5) With the money you save open clinics to care for the addicts!!!
6) Make selling dope so egregious a crime that these people never see the light of day again, ever!!!

Larry

The government doesn’t really care about people in pain. Most if not all chronic pain patients receive social security disability and the less of them that there are the more money the government can save. Only the the strong survive in this shameful and disgusting dog eat dog world. It’s very sad and very true. For all those out there and chronic pain just try to hang in there take it one day at a time. I know how it is cuz I go through it too. I have chronic pain every day and it totally sucks and the fact that the government doesn’t care and actually wants to kill us off this simply blows my mind. God bless us all.

““I was told to not read it, and to not research it…”

Who told them not to read or research it? And how incredibly, pathetically useless are these morons that they’d do that? And if the non-existent “epidemic” was really caused by kids getting pain meds out of their parents’ medicine cabinets, why aren’t the parents being arrested for child abuse, negligence, negligent homicide (if the kid died), etc?

I know the saying goes that we get the political representation we deserve, but good God, what did we do to deserve the group of credulous, venal, vile, sadistic morons we’ve got?! How do we undo it?

Louis Ogden

In response to Ann Maria perrone-vesper – we are in the same boat as I am 69 years old, had wonderful pain relief for 8 years, then POOF – it’s over. I’ve never thought I would see our country act like this. Under-treated or un-treated pain is torture. Torture is unconstitutional. Not only are we treated like common criminals but our right to pain care is being disregarded. This USED to be a great country but now it is cruel and uncaring.

Jeffrey A Horton

It’s freaking really sad that anytime the government gets into anything it doesn’t work out anyway almost for anyone ! Especially if it supposedly was to help ! Government get out of heathcare ! It sucks at it !

DAVID KLIMIS

I AM A VETERAN. WHILE ON ACTIVE DUTY IN THE USMC I WAS RIDING A 10 SPEED BIKE DOWN A STEEP HILL. WHEN I GOT TO THE BOTTOM I SEEN A CAR COMING IN MY DIRECTION. INSTEAD OF PRESSING THE BACK BREAK I PRESSED THE FRONT BREAK AND FLEW OVER THE VEHICLE DAMAGING MY SPINE. I WAS SENT TO SEE NAVAL DOCTOR LT WHITE WHO SAID HE WAS GOING TO MANIPULATE MT SPINE WHICH WAS AGAINST SECNAVS ORDERS. AFTER HE PRESSED HARD ON THE TWO LOCATIONS MY SPINE WAS DAMAGED HE RELEASED ME TO FULL DUTY. AFTER LEAVING HIS OFFICE I WAS IN HORIFFIC PAIN AND PASSED OUT. WHEN I WOKE UP I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 10 DAYS AND LATER DISCHARGED WITH A MEDICAL UNDER A HINORABLE DISCHARGR. DUE TO THE LIEUENTANT WHO MANIPULATED MY SPINE I LOST. MY CAREER IN THE USMC AFTER 9.5 YEARS OF SERVICE. I STARTED GOING TO THE HAMPTON VA HOSPITAL AND FOR 12+ YEARS WAS PRESCRIBED METHADONE AND PERCOCET AND STILL REMAINED IN PAIN. NOW THE LAWS HAVE CHANGED I HAVE NOTHING FOR PAIN. MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR REFUSES TO SEND ME TO PAIN MANAGEMENT. MY WIFE AND I HAD A MEETING WITH DOCTOR ROBERT BATES
DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF / ACTING CHIEF OF PRIMARY CARE AND HE SAID HE WOULD GET ME A NEW PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR. HOWEVER WE WERE LIED TO AND RECEIVED NO HELP FROM DR. ROBERT BATES OR DR. JOHN BUSH. I AM LIVING IN HELL AND NEED HELP OR I WILL DIE IN PAIN. WHO CAN HELP?

Robert

Dawn, Anna Maria, please don’t consider it.
Try not to give up. I have myself more times than Carter has pills, but stay strong.
Don’t give them the satisfaction and if we all end up in the same boat, let them not use us for their statistical B.S.
I have untreated Addison’s disease since October of last year and I cannot find a Physician to even accept as a patient (w/o pain meds). No one wants to clean some other Doctors mistake. Liability and it will lower their scores if and when I die on their watch and sign my death certificate.
It’s way beyond insanity now.
Please try just a bit longer.

Cindy

Believe it or not, the Government is starting to listen. Keep writing your congresspeople. Keep writing the president, keep writing your senators. I know it’s hard to do, even if you just say please listen to the other side of the chronic pain ordeal. Keep writing about your feeling, keep telling them what it’s been like for you. They are starting to listen!

charles w ball

Chronic pain from a supposedly correct back surgery 25 years ago.
Doctors fees in the hundred of thousands my ss check because of the new pain caused by the slicing of nerves in the back from the so called fix 400 a month.
Funny how it is always about the dollar.
25 years latter the goverment says the doctors are over prescribing pain killers, and they were to the tune of millions of dollars in the doctors pockets.
Now we have laws to stop that practice i just go in one time a month for 15 minutes and they get 300 dollars or 1200 an hour.
And they tell me i can not have my pain killers not because of them but because of new laws to protect me. No where i know off when you pay that much to some one are they not on your side but in this pain management game they are not on your side. They just take your money and give you a hug
Bull its has always been about the money and always will be untill you get to the house or Senate.
Than its about power and money.
My quality of life has now been hijacked by all these so call beifical laws but untill you take the power and money out of it i will continue to be in pain and dont see any doctor carring what happens unless it is to his pocket book

ElizabethR

I will be sending excerpts from this letter to current WA State officials. No one should die in–or of–incurable pain. I’m fortunate so far in that the low dosage of the mild opiate I’ve been taking for many years has not been reduced. However, as my 80+ Y/O body continues to age, the underlying conditions that cause pain (osteoarthritis, scoliosis, degenerative disc disease and the residual effects of 3 past back surgeries) continue to progress. The pain gets worse. I am currently doing yet another round of PT and will be trying a new massage therapist (the latter is not covered by insurance and each session will cost $100+ out of pocket–a significant sum for someone on a moderate fixed income).

However, I cannot risk telling my new doctor the truth. I cannot risk requesting a dosage increase or stronger medication. I cannot risk being labeled a “drug seeker” or “addict” and cut off or medically abandoned. No, I cannot take that risk, so I suffer through my so-called Golden Years. I’m not ready for self-deliverance yet, but it’s on my radar screen in a way that it wasn’t before 2016. And I cannot risk telling my doctor that, either!

Carrie Witte

I had a second spinal fusion in February, and left knee replacement in April. The knee replacement is horribly painful because my lower leg was knock knee. Post surgical pain management has been awful. I have OA and suffer crippling pain in my lower legs, hips and spine. My pain med has also been tapered and leaves me short. I have good days and bad days, but all bad for a month. I do not want to get my other knee done because of fear of inadequate pain management.

Heather

Am I missing something? Are there documents or a link I should be seeing?

I am very alarmed but not understanding how we can substantiate this.

E King

I live in Alabama. Since the CDC released their so called guide lines for prescribing pain medicine, my quality of life has been terrible. You can’t find a doctor willing to properly treat your pain for fear of losing their license.
It’s not just me, many people are having the same issues. We need help! It seems like no one is on the patients side. The few doctors who have been have lost their license and/or been put in jail. This is very unfair to all.
We are punished for having chronic pain.
Now you are not allowed to be prescribed an opiate and benzodiazepine together! So you choose take care of the pain or your anxiety issues.
What do you do?!?

Ali

As a chronic pain patient and a retired RN I have found there are so many medical negligence cases our government has allowed and even supported to happen.
Syphilis Study Deaths
Radiation of newborn’s thryoid causing cancer.
Formula for newborn’s in third world countries deaths.
Hospitalization of AIDS patients and staff not allowed to know.
Agent Orange denied by government & children of verterans dying at very young age of lukemia.
Last two decades FDA,CDC, etc agencies pushed for all patients to have there rights addressed to have enough pain medication to be pain free. I know this being a nurse.
Now stopping all pain meds IMMEDIATELY with out retrospect of the consquences of suicide’s.
This is another medical negligence malpractice of the FDA,CDC,etc agencies. The last decades they can’t control the cartels, drug dealers, and drug abuser’s so they went after the soft target the legal patients who follow all the rules and guidelines.
Suicide’s, profound depression, bulling, physician rejection, pain medication denied with out duediligence, and not one of these agencies will raise there voice to stop this travisty of injustice to the American citizen.
Daily patients see no help from anyone except illegal street sellers to help them with the most profound depression and pain one can experience. But we the abiding chronic pain patients don’t seek illegal drugs we wait for a voice to speak up to change this genocide by suicide. As a nurse I have seen many changes in the medical field and many medical blunders as one happened in my family.
The powers that be will listen, have the appearance of sympathy, make a note of what you are saying, and pacify your concerns. When you are out of sight it is all a fasade.
We the chronic pain patient are there collateral damage and they
are an accomplice to suicide as it becomes murder. Have they even
spoke up or tried to stop this travisty, nope and I don’t see it happening. Everyday we loose more 💔 to pain.

Tera C Crayne

It’s so horrible. I fight everyday because my daughter is suffering. They have taken her pain meds away and she wants to commit suicide. Its horrible for everyone.

Cindy

There still are pain managers, and pharmacies, who serve their patients properly.

My pain manager in FL reluctantly imposed a forced taper last fall, after first telling me he though my dose was low enough that he could “justify” it. But it could have been worse than it is, and knowing how stressed out I am about it, plus the extra pain, he has helped me in other ways, including suggesting that I try MMJ, which is legal where I live, and he did the training to be licensed to give patients authorization to get MMJ licenses. I understand that lots of pain managers oppose MMJ b/c it cuts into their business, and so that’s another reason I like my doctor.

As to pharmacies, I’ve never had a problem at Walgreens. Or Costco, although I switched from Costco to Walgreens a couple of years ago due to the cost of one of my opioids, which, oddly, is $10 cheaper at Walgreen’s than at Costco or CVS. I have Medicare Part D for Rx insurance. Walgreens has been out of stock a couple of times, but that’s b/c I live in a big tourist area in FL, and they can’t always predict volume during the winter. When they tell me they’re out of stock, they tell me what day to come back, and it’s not code for “we’ve filled our quota and so go away”.

I”ve heard that CVS has imposed a quota for opioids, and I believe b/c the few times in the last couple of years that I’ve tried to fill Rx’s there for one reason or another (like Walgreens being out of stock), CVS seems to always be “out of stock” — every time I tried there — and unlike Walgreens, they never suggested a day for me to come back. Years ago, when I lived really close to a CVS in another state, they were fine about my monthly Rx’s, but clearly that has changed.

My advice to people who have been denied is to keep looking for new providers. If you have to move to another state, then, if that’s what you need to do to stay alive, then do it. People do. I would.

Nina

We need more people like you who can powerfully and effectively advocate for chronic pain sufferers and the right to have medical and effective relief of their pain , which should include medicines that contain opioids as long as they can prove they don’t abuse the pain meds. No one should have to suffer from crippling pain as long as there are safe ways of alleviating it.

Alexandra carpenter

This is clearly a socialist republican plan. Kill the disabled. Chronic pain patients by denying them the only thing keeping them alive in the sense of any quality. I have RA chronic lower back pain
Government needs to keep their hands off my doctors and my pain meds.

T. Negrete

I wonder if Dr. Kolodny with his Suboxone had something to do with this? When I read this, this came to mind. Hmmm! Maybe some more digging.

Dawn Witek

I have been stressing to my Dr. that I constantly think about suicide, it’s my only option other then street drugs. I’ve let him know that I started my suicide letter. I have now begun thinking of ways on how I will execute it. Ever since he started lowering me( already half of one medication) the pain that has been coming through is so EXCRUCIATING and debilitating that I know if it gets lower any more, I will for sure commit suicide. He has already told me that my other one will have to be lower soon also. I really DON’T want to die, I really have NO choice. I have been thinking of ways to do it and I have been really leaning more towards the idea of making a statement with it. I would become homicidal first and target these legislature [edit] that did this [edit] to us and then I would take care of myself. Maybe someone needs to start sueing the doctors and people in government for murder. Because that is basically what they are doing. Please someone halo us.
If anybody wants to reply about anything.

Thank you Nealy for finding this out and sharing it with the rest of us. I’m not shocked at all, just sickened more so than I was. All the letters I’ve written asking everyone from the president on down if indeed they are trying to kill us; if this is indeed their plan? Was it easier for them to go after us versus the real problem? The drug cartels, the illegal Fentanyl and heroin coming in from the borders of China and Mexico? Darned straight it was and still is! Not one response in return did I receive. Now it’s all making more sense than it ever did. Someone needs to wake up and play president; you know…the way the government and the DEA is being allowed to play doctor. Chronic pain patients are taking their lives at a very alarming rate as well as our veterans who are in the very same boat! The very souls that went to war to fight for this god-forsaken country we call home. I’m ashamed and embarrassed! The land of the free and Home of the Brave!? Not hardly! Although, they got the second part right….

I Desperately need my pain medication I have a rare disease of the spinal cord which causes the screw she aiding pain 24 seven it is called. Adhesive Arachnoiditis
I. Could. Never. Live. In. This. Very excruciating pain If. Not. For. My. Oxycodone. Look. Up. This. Rare disease that I have in my spinal cord then you might understand I’d rather die this pain is that bad if I didn’t have my oxycodone my name is Ann. Maria. Perrone. Vesper. I’m. 70. Years. Old. Please. Don’t. Take. My. Pain. Meds. Away. Or I would have to commit suicide but I don’t want to do but I would have no other choice

Thank you Nealy, now..let’s see if and how the doctors may turn themselves around from all of the havoc and damage they’ve caused toward patients?!

Susan E

Incredible. Does everone truly think ALL chronic pain patients are merely drug seeking? What a sad world. I truly wish not one of those opposed ever requires treatment. It is a fate I wish on NO ONE and would trade for ANYTHING.

Sonja

People in pain usually don’t have a loud voice. They are busy stifling the scream. I have been abandoned by my doctor. Then trying to find a pain clinic that would take me on my own, they all look at me like I’m an addict. I think the pain clinics that had no intention of taking me in as a patient knowing the type of chronic pain and medication I was on they were willing to help me break my addiction though problem is I was out without my meds for over a month before I even seen them I don’t feel I have much of a life left. I hadn’t changed my medication for at least three years it wasn’t perfect I still had bad days but I learned to live with them cuz I could now everyday is a bad day. I’m at another pain clinic now who’s refusing to give me the medications that I was on he started me out on half of the Sentinel that I’m on. My husband who also has suffered from chronic pain after three back surgeries for the last 25 years was given half of what he took in the Fentanyl and within a week he was at the doctors and they upped him to his normal fentanyl but still refused to give him his pain pills stating that they were no longer allowed to give both. Meanwhile I have to wait a whole month on these half with no pain pill meds why? Why am I forced to go a month while my husband was given higher doses within the two-week. And the truth be told if a doctor looked at both of our MRIS they would tell you that mine was actually in worse shape than his my pain levels should be higher than his. These new doctors don’t know that I have a high pain threshold. We can thank the abuse of my parents when I was a child for this. I still have problems talking about my pain and showing it. I’ve had doctors in emergency rooms looking at my smashed finger with the look of horror on your face stating oh my God you don’t feel pain. My answer to him was to look into my eyes and tell me that he would have de nurse to give me a pain pill. Why? My husband was on meds for 20 years I never took

Talking to eachother on comment boards is only a way to organize. If you do not find the courage to join together and show up on the steps of your state capitols, you will never get any response of meaning. Look no further than the potheads for an example. Bypass the federal government. Force your state representatives and governors to pass laws that undermine the useless politicians in Washington. Everyday thousands kill themselves without having fought for themselves first! You have nothing to lose! What can they do to you? Before you end your life, fight for it! Die fighting and your life will have had a powerful purpose at least! Rise up! Rise up! Rise up!

To the Moderator:

I do understand that my posts are a bit disconcerting, but please just read/watch this – https://globalnews.ca/news/3108514/lethal-carfentanil-could-be-used-by-terrorists-in-mass-attacks-experts-say/

I realize you must be cautious about posting, but please just read this for yourself.

If they get serious, imagine aerosilized carfentanil chemtrails over Seattle Washington.
In 2002, Russian soldiers pumped aerosolized carfentanil into a Moscow theatre where Chechen militants were holding more than 800 hostages. They meant to incapacitate them, but the strength of the drug ended up killing over 120 innocent civilians.
By the way, the Chinese manufacturer the weaponized version, well since 2016.
Look it you for yourselves, please.

I shared on Facebook. This is a disservice to all Americans. Now my pharmacy has to get prior authorization for meds I’ve been on years for my multiple sclerosis.

Umm..Okay, Is this an actual Press Release or just a frustrated rant or ‘testimonial’that holds no actual information to actually help the situation. Perhaps you should post this on ‘FACEBOOK’where it belongs.

Robert

So the government did in fact have a plan in place to eliminate (murder) us, one pain patient at a time?
I’m shocked to find gambling going on at this establishment.

I am waiting for the drug lords around the world to get their pain meds through. It will be 10 years before anyone in Washington gets off of their rears to do anything for pain patients. Plus doctors will not trust the government to not lock them up for one thing or the other. Illegal drugs are the only hope now that the powers that are in charge are looking to be the one that saves the world from themselves regardless of the facts. Government regulated doctors are worthless for pain problems and will continue to be in the future. Illegal medication may not be FDA approved, but it will be accessible without judgement. The government just created a whole new set of problems by trying to control everyone’s lives and quality, according to their standards which are save the addicts and everyone else has to suffer for them. It’s the law.

That’s great news ! But how long until all these ludicrous laws are reversed ? How many more will commit suicide before this situation that was totally blown out of frustration & fear caused by illicit drug activity?? People are still overdosing but on illicit drugs. Day after day I groan , I cry ,I think of heaven being my home!! I beg God to help my pain . I refuse surgy on hip & shoulder because I was told no pain releif no opiods only toridol & steroids . Next cancer I’m calling hospice at least I’ll get pain releif for the time I have left in this miserable world!! So wrong so backwards so greedy I’m the victim of the opiod crisses and whom shall I Sue for cruel & unusual punishment?
