Delta's the official airline of the NY Wine and Food Festival

Delta Air Lines is sponsoring the Food Network New York Wine and Food Festival for the third year in a row and is accordingly being recognized as the official airline of the event.

During the NY wine and food festival, Delta will bring back its famous Delta Sky 360 Lounge and will bring six consulting chefs to venues throughout the event.

This partnership is a continuing investment in the city of New York.

Visitors at the Delta Sky 360 Lounge will be treated with Business Elite menu items created by James Beard Award Winner and celebrity chef, Michelle Bernstein. Visitors attending the event will be able to create recipe booklets out of the menu items.

Chef Michael Lomonaco will create Lobster Sliders. These were created for LaGuardia Airport’s new restaurant Prime Tavern. Chefs Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr will make Roasted Beet Salad for Bisoux Restaurant, which is also at LaGuardia. There is also a new made-to-order meal, Mozzarella Panini, that will be available for purchase at Delta Sky Clubs at JFK Airport.

Wine buffs can sample champagne and wine selections from Delta’s Master Sommelier, Andrea Robinson. The wine regions represented will be Argentina, Italy, Chile, France, Spain and the United States.

Delta Air Lines will also sponsor the Burger Bus 2010; this is complimentary transportation between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
