Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits cinemas November 1

Part One of the final installment in the mega-successful film franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released to the cinema screen on November 1st.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 reunites young Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint), with key characters including Professor Snape (Alan Rickman), Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) and Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton), among other favorites.

About Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione start on their perilous mission to seek and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction – the Horcruxes. Without the protection of Professor Dumbledore or the guidance of their professors, the trio must rely on one another more than ever before. But there are Dark Forces unseen in their midst which threaten to rip them apart.

Meanwhile, the world of wizardry has become very dangerous for enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has started and Voldemort’s Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts. But the one prize they still seek is the one Voldemort wants the most: Harry Potter himself. The Chosen One is now the hunted one as the Death Eaters do their master’s bidding and hunt high and low for Harry.

Harry Potter’s only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an ancient and near-forgotten legend – the tale of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power that he desires.

Little does Harry know that his future has already been decided by his past, on that day when he became “the Boy Who Lived.”

No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

This film has been rated PG-13 for some sequences of intense action violence and frightening images.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 will hit cinemas on July 15, next year. More info at www.harrypotter.com
