An upcoming performance by Jermaine Jackson will be emotional for the brother of  the late Michael Jackson as well as the audience.

The founding member of the Jackson 5 will celebrate 40 years as a recording artist at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Theatre of Performing Arts in Las Vegas on October 2, at 8 pm.

As well as performing his own songs, Jermaine also will sing his late brother’s Beat It, Man in the Mirror and I’ll Be There.

Despite the Michael Jackson being the best known of the Jackson 5 family group which shook a couple of generations, Jermaine has carved out his own successful career and is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

In the show on October 2, there will be an eleven piece band, six dancers, and three background vocalists. There will be three of his children also on stage with him. Jermaine Jr. and Autumn will sing on vocals and Jeremy on guitar.

Rex Salas will conduct the band which will be surrounded by a multimedia presentation to include family videos and photos of the Jackson family.

This will be a very memorable event and The Jackson family sound is woven through many generations. Audiences will be able to also view it worldwide. Legendary members of the family are unofficially attending the event.
