The MIPCOM 2010 World Premier TV Screenings will be held on October 4th, at the Palias des Festival’s Grand Auditorium in Cannes, in the south of France.

MIPCOM is a media event which is held each year, normally during October, in the town of Cannes. This is the same location where the world-famous Cannes Film Festival is held.

Mad Men stars, Elisabeth Moss, Jon Hamm, and John Slattery will headline the event.

They first will appear at the Screening. Then afterwards, they will have a question and answer session with attendees from MIPCOM. Then there will be a Cocktail Party for event participants and guests at the Martinez Hotel.

The Screening will be held on the Monday, and on Tuesday, the stars will attend a Personality of the Year Awards dinner to honor Jon Feltheimer, the CEO and Co-Chairman of Lionsgate. On Wednesday, they will be at an event for VIP’s only. This will be hosted by Robert Redford to honor Sundance Channel’s first birthday in Europe.

The Mad Men TV Series has won thirteen Emmy Awards, has been nominated more than forty-nine times, and has been voted for three straight years in a row as Outstanding Drama Series. This is an historic achievement for Cable TV.

The show airs in over one hundred countries around the world and in the US is broadcast by AMC. It is now in its fourth season.
