Marriott International unveiled the new Greatroom at the Marriott Downtown earlier this week in Cleveland, Ohio. The MI Greatroom concept is reinventing what the lobby looks and feels like.

The design will provide these key features:

  • When arriving, departing, concierge service, retail and business services, will all be provided as a one-stop shop at the front desk.
  • Free high speed internet along with a media wall, entertainment, functional seating, and state of the art technology.
  • A Social Business Zone to let Marriott’s guests have a meet and greet session along with eating during the day and night time playing and celebrating.
  • Food and beverage options for guests that will arrive at your table within twenty minutes so you can recharge your batteries without slowing down along with private areas that are secluded while still being at the center of all the action.

The design was to make the morning energetic, keep guests motivated during the afternoon, and keep them engaged at night. So, business and leisure both can be combined anytime of the day or night.

The hotel in downtown Cleveland overlooks Lake Erie and the city’s skyline. It is twenty-five stories tall and is in the heart of the business district and connected to Key Center.
